2-Day Tour for Scott & Rosie: Windmills & Waterland, and a Full Day in Amsterdam Tours
In this 2-day tour, we will enjoy a Day Trip to Zaanse Schans, an open-air museum where the Dutch industrial spirit of the 18th century has been preserved. We'll visit working windmills and a clogged factory and see cute, quaint houses.
If desired, we will take a boat tour over the Zaan River. Next, our driver and friend, Wim, will take us to Waterland, a region where there was formerly a lot of water! We'll visit the villages of Broek in Waterland, Monnickendam, and Ransdorp. We will also visit a couple of cheese farms, where we will have the opportunity to see cows and, very possibly, pet some sheep!
Then return to Amsterdam.
On our second day together, we will enjoy a full day in Amsterdam's beautiful cosmopolitan city.
We'll combine museums, a bike ride, a canal cruise, and ideally, some spry painting in the city's Street Art district!
The plan remains flexible and follows Rosie and Scott's preferences regarding the weather conditions and how they feel about them.
The dates are July 21st and 25th, 2024. The price includes a driver and car for Day 1.
